Anyone can plant. The work is in the watering.

Children choose one plant and look after it, day after day. That's it. That's the lesson.

Five words. One habit.

  1. 01

    Pledge

    संकल्प

Pick one plant. Say it's yours.

  2. 02

    Plant

    रोपण

    Soil, a pot — often a cut bottle — a seedling.

  3. 03

    Nurture

    पोषण

    Water it. Tomorrow too.

  4. 04

    Observe

    अवलोकन

New leaf? Dry soil? Write it down.

  5. 05

    Continue

    निरंतरता

Keep going. Then show someone younger.

From our own camera roll.

Real moments, in date order. We can't yet say they're the same plant, or how many survived.
